A Picture of Scripture

By Sam:
The other day I read 'I lift my eyes to the hills-where does my help come from?' from Psalm 121. I could just picture the beautiful snow-capped mountains. Then I remembered a bookmark that had that verse on it with some hills in the background. It looked so pretty. I thought that I would try that. So I found some Bible verses and typed them onto some pictures that I'd taken. They turned out great. Here they are:

Posted by PicasaI took all these pictures at one time or another. Some were from a few years ago, two were from last month. Finding  Bible verses that worked good for a picture was hard but I eventually found a bunch. It was fun finding the pictures that went best with the scripture!

Photos

 By Sam:
I took more pictures of my family. Mommy and Daddy actually let me take some pictures of them as long as it was of them both. They almost never let me do that!

Nature Photography

By Sam:
I love to take pictures of anything from people to animals to flowers to clouds. God made this world so beautiful, I can't help but want to take pictures of his wonderful creation!

A rainbow.

A tiger lily.

The sun in the trees.

More flowers.

Looking up in a tree.

A robin's nest.

A sunset.

Some clouds. It is actually bright and sunny out but the setting on my camera made it look stormy.

Maddy's 2nd Birthday

By Sam:
We celabrated Maddy's 2nd Birthday earlier this August. The theme was rainbow. By looking at the decorations it isn't that hard to guess.

Here are pictures of the cake before, during, and after the party. It was hot out and the cake really melted. We put it downstairs but it still melted so fast that you could watch the frosting slowly running down the sides. The lit candles made it melt even more. At least we had before pictures to show the guests!

The cake was swirly rainbow inside. It looked very cool and was a very yummy vanilla-almond flavor.

The Birthday girl opening her gifts. She acctually loved opening and playing with the cards!
