KONOS Stewardship Africa: Republic of the Congo

Here are a few pictures from when we studied about the Rainforest area of Africa and specifically Republic of the Congo.  We belonged to a geography coop where each family took turns teaching about a different country and we had picked Republic of the Congo since we were already studying Africa at home with KONOS.  We had a lot of fun and created a "jungle" in our living room and learned about the Pygmy people, the rainforest canopy, different rainforest animals, stepped in wet moss to represent the rainforest floor, dramatized hunting, shot a bow and arrow like the rainforest tribes, and more!
